Aerospace
Agemaspark has experience in manufacturing components for aerospace manufacturing and R&D. One R&D project with TWI and Rolls-Royce created a new standard in engine repair that has been implemented on the worldwide fleet of aircraft. They have also been involved in instrumentation for a test rig engine putting 1mm dia. holes for thermocouples and pressure sensors.
Automotive
The company has experience in the automotive sector working on an award-winning toolmaking project with Advanced Plastics for a major automotive manufacturer. They have also worked with GKN on a tag milling automation project and supplied extrusion dies for the rubber seals that fit round the car doors for another manufacturer.
Defence
Agemaspark has experience in the defence sector including manufacturing components using the latest 3D metal printing technology for the Household Cavalry. One of the aerospace projects that used 3D printing technology reduced manufacturing time by 50-60% resulting in a faster turnaround of critical instrumentation components.

Agemaspark have supplied the medical sector for over 20 years, manufacturing complex components for medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies, as well as developing mould tooling for projects including a full suite of 10 parts for tooling the optical trocar.

The company has experience in the food and drink sector supplying mould tooling and extrusion moulds for a range of applications including milk and sports bottle caps, a collapsible drinks bottle and moulds for chocolate production. The mould tooling utilising 3D metal printing and conformal cooling technology has been proven to reduce cycle times, increase production capacity and improve quality in the manufacturing process.
Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Nuclear
The company has worked on a variety of projects in the power generation sector including on turbines and drillheads, along with experience working with special metal alloys such as Inconel 718. Agemaspark has, for many years, undertaken work on 10Mt collars for the oil and gas industry, where spark erosion was used to make an internal key way to a tolerance of +>- .05mm.
