A Doncaster based precision engineering company is supporting four of its employees through apprenticeships with Whyy? Change?

Agemaspark team members Paul Preskey and Sam Buxton are undertaking a combined Level 5 Operations / Departmental Manager Apprenticeship and CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership qualification and Luke Rivett and Craig Todd will be completing a combined Level 3 Team Leader / Supervisor Apprenticeship and CMI Level 3 Diploma in Principles of Management & Leadership qualification.

Paul Stockhill, managing director of Agemaspark said: “We want our team to have all the skills they need to help them to progress with our business.

“A recent meeting with Anne Wilson at training provider Whyy? Change gave me a great insight into some of the funded opportunities available to help your team develop. My investment is giving them the time to undertake this further learning.

“Employees need to be training for at least six hours a week and the rest of the week is about learning on the job.

“Having four members of staff on these higher level apprenticeships is a first step for us in our succession planning and its all about growing our capabilities from within the team.”
